Temple Surfboards has a firm ideology based around local employment in their chosen field using the best possible materials we can find worldwide. We use Bennetts Foam and glass from Australia as it is simply the best in the world
Established in a small fishing village, local fisherman and stone carvers are taught to hand shape and fibreglass surfboards. While electric power hand tools are used at some stages of the process, all the surfboards are shaped and glassed by hand. We believe that when making a surfboard, the feelings of the artist are absorbed into the board and create the soul of the surfboard.
Surfboards are sprayed with any designs imagined and local artists assist to create the imagery on the boards.
All Temple Surfboards staff surf the products they make and test them to the extreme.
Local products made by the local people for the local people.
